This morning we had water, so we finished our planting. Prior to today, we had planted corn (two rows on the far left of the photo), peas (two partial rows on the far right of the photo), potatoes (two partial rows in the center), tomatoes (you can see them on the row by the garbage can), peppers, cucumbers, cantaloupe, decorative pumpkins. Hmmm. I think that's all. Most of the other green stuff you see is unfortunately weeds. Today we planted our beans, chard, and kale. I'm excited about the kale. We discovered it from the book "The 28-day Cleansing Solution," which teaches about whole foods. There was a recipe with kale, and we've been hooked ever since. So I hope it grows. I think it's more of a cool weather veggie, so I hope it works being this late in the season. I'll be updating this photo so you can see the progress. It's so fun to have irrigation!
I'm jealous! Your garden is huge! So much fun! Mine is about 3'x10'. But this year I'm doing a patio garden too. I just finished planting my tomatoes!
